1. The Visitation School in Mendota Heights is seeking a full-time Preschool Teacher/Teacher Aide to create and maintain a safe, developmentally appropriate environment that allows each child to explore, experience, and discover his/her world within a caring, secure and supportive atmosphere that provides the opportunity to develop his/her unique and individual potential as a human being.Visitation School is an independent Catholic day school serving co-ed children 6 weeks through Grade 6, and all girls in Grades 7 through 12. The Visitation Child Care Center is a licensed, NAEYC accredited year-round program. The Child Care Center serves approximately 45 children a day.

Position description includes: Provide child-oriented, individualized attention to all children in program. Foster each child’s growth and development, giving nurturance and support to each child’s emerging skills and use of their own abilities. Work cooperatively as a member of a classroom team implementing age and developmentally appropriate curriculum. Document information regarding children and families including the completion of daily reports, accident reports and staff communication logs.

Pay scale: $20,00.00 – $30,000.00.

The qualified candidate should:
*Be willing to embrace the Visitation School mission
*Be available Monday through Friday (shift times will vary and can be somewhat flexible)
*For a Teacher position an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education or a related field is required.
*For a Teacher Aide position some training in the field of child development is preferred. For both positions a minimum of 2 years experience is ideal.
*Familiarity with Minnesota Department of Human Services Program Rule 3
*Familiarity with National Association for the Education of Young Children standards and guidelines
*Familiarity with Developmentally Appropriate Activities
*Familiarity of classroom and playground equipment and related safety practices
*Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) Training preferred
*CPR and First Aid Certification preferred

2. Tutor Time of Apple Valley is seeking a part-time Preschool Assistant Teacherto work with lead teacher to oversee 20 kids, plan both indoor and outdoor classroom activities, communicate with parents and light cleaning at the end of the night.

Pay scale: $9 – $11.Minimum GPA: 2.50.

3. Pumpkin Patch Childcare & Learning Center is seeking a full-time Lead Toddler Teacher.

Responsibilities include: Leading classroom activities, developing and maintaining relationships with families, on-going child assessments, leading classroom staff, and having fun!Pay scale: $10-$11. Minimum: Certificate in early childhood education

Pumpkin Patch is also hiring a seasonal School Age Co-Teacher. Must have a valid driver’s license.
