For too many of our children, today’s sedentary life style poses a serious threat to their longterm health and well-being. At the same time, many of our more active children are drawn into highly competitive sports at early ages, with risk of injury if they don’t receive appropriate guidance about how much is too much.
I’ve also noticed that many adults today seem to be encouraging children to choose one sport to specialize in, all year around. Is this safe?
