Teens Experiencing Technical Education (TXT) was a week-long camp for middle school girls at Dakota County Technical College that showcased a host of traditionally male careers. This event was organized in partnership with the Laura Jeffrey Academy and the Best Buy Geek Squad Summer Academy. Read more in the Star Tribune and Rosemount Town Pages.

Jill Behnke, along with six Early Childhood and Youth Development students, participated in the TXT event. Jill lead the Early Childhood sessions with our SmartBoard and creative art activities in our lab. Looks like they all had a blast!
