Today’s MomEnough topic is a familiar one to many children throughout the U.S. and right here in MN- deployed parents. The ME show posed the question, “What are the unique challenges faced by children and families when a parent is deployed to serve in our nation’s current conflicts?” There are resources available for children and families regarding deployment, emotions, separation and reunion. Abigail Gewirtz, from the University of MN, sheds some light on this important topic.
