I just found out about this last night and want to share it with you too. The Raptor Resource Project is a nonprofit, 501c3 dedicated to restoring the Midwest’s population of Peregrine falcons and other raptors. Right now you can visit their Eagle Cam (online) and possible witness the hatching of a baby eagle!! What a neat science activity for children 🙂

Here’s how to do it (besides clicking on Eagle Cam above) Do a Google search for decorah eagle cam and voila! (It’s generally the top search result. There’s a short advertisement first, then the LIVE CAMERA appears. It’s estimated that the eggs (there’s 3) could hatch TODAY!

You can also visit HERE to see the first pip – yesterday. Watch the video and you’ll see the hatchling making it’s first peck.
