You may or may not have heard about the tragic incident in North Mankato this last fall. A young girl, Hannah – age 4, choked on a grape while at childcare. The staff did not realize she was choking at first, delayed action for at least two minutes, and then called her parents. No one working in her room was trained in CPR at the time. Because of their lack of swift action (and knowledge of CPR), Hannah did not survive the incident.
Under current regulation, only one staff member working at the site must be CPR trained. This may soon change. Read the story below to familiarize yourself with this story. Follow the bill for Hannah’s Law HERE (including more videos).

What’s YOUR opinion? Should the law be changed or remain the same? Should every staff member be trained? Why or why not?
