Winter break is a great time to recover from finals, enjoy time with family and friends, and reboot for spring semester. Did I mention it’s also a good time to have FUN!
With all the snow in December, there were plenty of opportunities to have fun outside. My son and I went sledding and he enjoyed it more than I did it was a blast. I went zooming coasting down irractically nicely on the way too bumpy fun never-ending children’s hill. Two times down the hill on our tiny & hard brand-new sled was enough for me a good time. He went down over and over for 2 hours! Below you’ll see the best shot of the day and two short videos.
Listen as he says, “I don’t know why I’m doing this!” I don’t know why either. And no, he wasn’t hurt, even though it looks like he smashed his face. Needless to say, this was a one-time jump.

i had my first christmas with my husband. I also went with his family (my new in-laws) to the Kalahari in the Dells. awesome and relaxing. my first time to take time off from my classroom in 13 1/2 yrs. between christmas and new years. I was a tiny bit sad but when I got back and found out that ice had formed on the roof above my classroom and stared to leek in to my room and then was too much water for the celing tiles to hold that they fell and water was everywhere on one side of the room. We are working on getting them fixed. Glad I was gone for all of that.
