For those that are new to this blog, I’d like to welcome you. I’m glad you’re here! For others, you may already be familiar with this blog, but I’d like to take a little time today to guide you around this blog, as well as share some details about this semester.
Be sure to Subscribe to this blog by entering your email address in the box in the upper right-hand corner. When I post to this blog, you’ll receive an email with a direct link to the post. We are aiming for a 100% subscribing rate from our students. This is a great way to get information out to students quickly, if necessary.
If you’re looking for general info about our Child Development program and courses needed, ‘hover’ over Program and click on Description & Outcomes. Need an Activity Card form or an Event Sample? ‘Hover’ over Program and click on Forms. Wondering what die cuts the lab has? That’s there too! Under Program you’ll find program info about us, the instructors, the policy handbook, videos, etc. If you’re wanting to look ahead and plan your academic schedule, there’s a sample of which courses we offer and when (semester wise).
Photos is our photo album. It’s mostly made up of projects and activities that students have created. This can serve as an immediate aide when you need to plan activities and curriculum!
Click on Transfer to learn more about transfer options after DCTC. If you are considering continuing your education after DCTC, this page may be of interest to you. Contact us for more info.

Click on Radio to listen to BAM Radio, an Internet radio program for parents and educators. Rae Pica interviews experts in the fields of education, child development, play research, the neurosciences, and more. Another great resource for you.

Dates, policies, events, changes, etc. are all discussed in the newsletter. As a subscriber to this blog, you’ll have first access to the newsletter.
If you would to Contact Jill or I (Dawn), our contact info is the last tab across the top of the blog.
