Open ended play…it’s important. Whether it be the schedule, structure, rules, etc., we often put parameters on children’s play. Yes, children need structure, schedules, and rules – don’t get me wrong. That being said, children also need time for open ended play with open ended materials. This type of play helps develop a child’s creativity and imagination.
