Ever get the muchies? Just need a little snack to get you going?

It’s easy to overeat or grab something unhealthy if you’re not thinking about it. Here I’ve listed some healthy options that are pretty simple to make.

Mudslide Smoothie – Blend a banana with one cup nonfat milk and two tablespoons Ovaltine. You can add variety by mixing in other fruits, yogurt, and peanut butter.

Ants on a Log – Fill the center of the celery stick with peanut butter. Place a few raisins on top to be your ants.

Turkey Tortilla – Place turkey, low-fat mozzarella, and lettuce on a whole wheat tortilla. Roll tightly, and refrigerate. Cut into 1-inch slices.

PitaHummusGrapes – Cut pita bread into triangles and lightly toast. Dip pita in hummus and enjoy it with fresh grapes.

What are YOUR favorite healthy snack options? Let me know.
