If you are looking for something to do over fall break (Oct. 15th and 16th) check out Severs Corn Maze and Fall Festival!

My family and I have attended Severs for the past three years and every year, it’s a blast! The highlight for me personally, is of course the MAZE! It’s neat because there’s a purpose as to how you go through…not simply to get through. You need to follow the sign letters A-Z,  in alphabetical order, to get through successfully. There are usually signs at each letter that include an educational bit, a piece of history.

My son was 3 when we started taking him. It’s a lot of walking…so keep that in mind. Oh, and if it rained recently, be prepared to walk in mud. Other than that, it’s really a great time for the entire family. There are plenty of other activities also. Plan to stay for a few hours.

The cost is 3 & Under FREE, or $11 for the rest of us. You are able to save one dollar by visiting their website and printing off a coupon. http://www.severscornmaze.com Included with admission is: Corn maze, escape artist, magic shows, wildlife shows, Barnyard, exotic animal petting zoo, huge straw bale maze, pig races, live music, and a HUGE corn pit!

For additional fees: giant slide, sand art, face painting, hay rides, pumpkin slinger, pony rides, camel rides, and food & beverages. Severs Corn Maze & Fall Festival is open Saturdays and Sundays AND Oct. 15th and 16th.

Each year the Severs choose a theme for their festival. This year, the theme is Pirate Adventure! Check out this maze –
