I recently had Eric visit my Professional Relations class to share some writing tips/resources. He says –
The first source was a source suggested by Wes Jorde at the Purdue Website. It’s called OWL and there are components for both students and those who do not attend the school. Here’s the link: http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/679/01 Notice that on the right hand side there is a tab labeled “Research and Citation.”
The next source is Noodletools, and is entirely focused around doing citations. Here’s a link to that website’s free area as well: http://noodletools.com/login.php Also, check out the main page for other free components at http://noodletools.com/index.php This website lets you copy and paste the citations it generates which is really helpful for final papers.
Lastly, here is a link to the online tutoring source that is free through DCTC: http://www.onlinedctc.com/students/getsmart/index.cfm
