TEACHER-TODDLERS- FT
$11.00/hr to $13.35/hr
Summary: Plan and implement daily program including curriculum activities that provide for all areas of development; Provide and environment for children to learn through active exploration and interaction with adults, other children and materials; Provide a variety of activities and materials that allow for increasing difficulty, complexity, and challenge; Provide multicultural and nonsexist experiences, materials and equipment for children; Provide activities that encourage creative and artistic expression; Provide a balance of child initiated/teacher initiated activities; Responds quickly and directly to child’s needs; Provide many opportunities for language development/early literacy programming; Supervise and interact with children in all activities; Respond to and supervise age-appropriate toileting needs
Minimum Qualifications: Must meet Minnesota Department of Human Services licensing qualifications as stated in Rule 3 for a Teacher. Strong desire to work with children. Knowledge of child care standards for the State of Minnesota. Willingness to continue learning in the field of early education. Prefer experience working in center based child care. Must be able to pass an applicant background search.

Early Childhood Environmental Education Intern
The Early Childhood Environmental Education Intern will develop, implement, and maintain curriculum, facilitate teacher trainings, lead classroom/forest activities with students pre-kindergarten to 2nd grade at our Minnetonka location. Additional duties include: developing adaptations for children with special needs, identifying plants and animals, participating in citizen research projects, and developing curriculum for therapeutic programs. Qualifications: pursuing a degree in Natural Resources, Forestry, Environmental Education, or related field, knowledge in curriculum development and implementation, and knowledge of PC programs. Flexible scheduling- 10 hrs/wk.
