DCTC Students Shine at Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference!
Dakota County Technical College (DCTC) and the Business Professionals of America (BPA) chapter are thrilled to announce the outstanding achievements of two exceptional students at the recent National Leadership Conference!
Erika Wortham demonstrated incredible talent and dedication, earning Top 10 recognition and a spot on stage in multiple competitive events:
- Advanced Spreadsheet Applications: 7th Place
- Business Law & Ethics: 5th Place
- Administrative Support Concepts – Open: 7th Place
- Ethics & Professionalism (PS): 4th Place
- Meeting & Event Planning Concepts – Open: 10th Place
- Parliamentary Procedure Concepts – Open: 9th Place
Each of these accomplishments earned Erika a medal, showcasing her hard work and expertise in these diverse business areas.
Adding to the excitement, DCTC’s own Natasha Grad achieved remarkable success, not only excelling in her competitive events but also being elected to a prestigious national leadership position!
- Entrepreneurship: 1st Place (Natasha received a plaque for this top achievement!)
- Advanced Interview Skills: 5th Place
- Ethics & Professionalism: 9th Place
- Digital Marketing Concepts – Open: 8th Place
Furthermore, Natasha’s dedication and leadership potential were recognized with her election as the National Parliamentarian for Business Professionals of America for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a significant honor and a testament to her commitment to BPA and its members nationwide.
