The annual DCTC Chili Cook-Off is returning on Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the DCTC Commons. Get ready for a lunchtime fiesta filled with flavor, fun, and community spirit!
Prepare your taste buds for an explosion of deliciousness as you sample over 25 different chili creations. From mild and savory to fiery and bold, there’s sure to be a chili to satisfy every palate. But the Chili Cook-Off is more than just a culinary competition. It’s a celebration! Enjoy the lively atmosphere and groove to the tunes of Dr. Harold Torrence, who will be providing the perfect musical backdrop for this flavorful event.
For just $4.00, you’ll receive unlimited chili tasting, a slice of cornbread to complement your chili, and a refreshing soda. It’s a fantastic deal for a delicious lunch and a great way to support a worthy cause.
This year, half of the proceeds will be donated to the Open Door food shelf and pantry, helping to combat food insecurity in our community.
