This event will be a hybrid experience, allowing participants to attend either in person or via Zoom. Attorney General Keith Ellison will be speaking live from the system office in St. Paul and also streaming his address via Zoom.
Attorney General Keith Ellison will delve into the current state of affairs in our country, highlighting the challenges and opportunities for progress amidst adversity. In the wake of George Floyd’s tragic murder and the subsequent trial of Derek Chauvin, Ellison will explore how these events have catalyzed a national conversation about justice, equality, and the imperative need to strengthen our multiracial democracy.
Through his insightful commentary, Ellison will shed light on the various fronts of backlash against the hard-won advancements towards greater freedom and justice for all Americans. His address will serve as a call to action for individuals and communities to come together in solidarity and commitment to building a more just and equitable society.
