Mastering the Use of Online Tools: Microsoft Outlook, D2L, Wifi, and More! – View Recording
As you know, you will use many online tools in your time here as a student at DCTC, from D2L Brightspace to Microsoft Outlook. Juggling the use of multiple online tools may be intimidating and confusing at first. The Center for Teaching and Learning is here to help! This session will cover the basics of some of our most important tools – such as logging into your Outlook student email or D2L for class access, or connecting to the school’s Wi-Fi network, or even where to go when you have questions! Bring your own personal devices to this session to get them connected and ready to go for when classes to begin!
Ensuring Your Success in Online Classes! – View Recording
Although you have probably been online learning for a while now, this session will take you through the specific skills and resources you need to be successful in online classes here at DCTC. We will cover the details and navigation of D2L Brightspace, our online learning platform, as well as the many other places you can go to get help when you need it!
