DCTC’s horticultural club is happy to announce its annual Spring Plant Sale! It takes place on May 9th, 10th, and 11th from 8am-2pm in the school greenhouse on the far west side of campus.  All proceeds go back into the Landscape/Horticulture program.

The greenhouse students have worked hard all year researching and growing the contents.  They will be at the sale in order to help answer any questions.   The design students have worked up some container designs as well.

It’s been an interesting year in the greenhouse.  Teacher Catherine Grant is in her second year and busy making adjustments and upgrades to it.  Three new irrigation systems and a new fertilizer injector have been added.  Teacher Jeff Kleinboehl and student Kim Bloomquist have been indispensible in the construction.

Come see and smell the delights of the greenhouse.  A sign-up sheet will be offered for any who wish to keep abreast of all plant sales at the school.
