Recovery! — has a nice optimistic ring, doesn’t it? In keeping with spring and the spirit of hope, here are two government Web sites dealing with economic recovery and the stimulus package.

Recovery.gov is the federal government’s site to inform the public of where stimulus money is going. Daily updates keep you current.

IRS Information Related to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009
This page highlights key aspects of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 of interest to taxpayers and employers, including the Making Work Pay tax credit (“refundable tax credit of up to $400 for working individuals and $800 for married taxpayers filing joint returns”), Economic Recovery Payment (for Social Security recipients, veterans, railroad retirees), deductions for new vehicle purchases, expansion of first-time homebuyer credit, and COBRA premium subsidies.
