The DCTC Blue Knights soccer teams emerged with a split decision following their Sept. 13 trip to St. Olaf College, with the men’s squad prevailing 2-1 and the women’s team losing 4-1 on Rolf Mellby Field.
Coach Cam Stoltz said the women’s squad seemed to lack focus in the loss against the Oles.
“Our women could not play nearly as well as they did last week,” he said. “We just did not execute well, and will have to do better against Rochester (Sept. 14) if we expect to win.” Read more »

Men gain two weekend wins in wisconsin, women even record with away win.
The Dakota County Technical College men’s soccer program continued its winning ways this weekend, grabbing two wins on the road in playing two games in Madison,Wis. The Blue Knights have now won five consecutive games.
In Friday’s game, the Blue Knights came from behind to defeat Madison Area Technical College, 2-1, with the game winner coming with only four minutes remaining. Read more »

After dropping their first two games on the road in Iowa, the Dakota County Technical College Blue Knights men’s soccer team looked strong in its inaugural home game, coming out to win 6-2 against North Iowa Area Community College on Aug. 31.
Standouts for the Blue Knights included Casey Holm, who scored twice, and Chris Kemp, Pat Harnett, Justin Chang, and Isaak Haile, who turned in single-goal performances. Dan Nettleton collected two assists on the day. Read more »

The Blue Knight soccer squads opened their 2005 campaign on the road and came away with losses in their most difficult road games of the 2005 schedule.
Starting out on the road against the region’s two strongest programs was going to be difficult, yet the coaching staff hoped to use the opening matches of the year to gauge and measure individuals and team progress through the preseason. Read more »
