Renee Belland-Wenda starts at DCTC this fall

Renee Belland-Wenda of South St. Paul, Minn., not only registered for classes on Business and Management Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 2, at Dakota County Technical College’s Apple Valley site, she also entered a drawing and won a new iPad 2. The mother of five children, Belland-Wenda is majoring in Supervisory Management and is also on task to earn a diploma in Multicultural Leadership. She plans to transfer to Concordia University-St. Paul to get a bachelor’s degree in health care management after earning her A.A.S. degree at DCTC.

“My nine-year-old is already saying we are going to share the iPad,” she said with a smile.

Classes for fall semester at DCTC start Monday, Aug. 22. There’s still time to enroll and register for classes. DCTC continues to admit students into degree programs up to the day classes begin.
