Skills USA Nationals 2012
For the second year in a row, our students have done well at the Skills USA State Competition in Preschool Teaching Assistant. Lorelei placed 1st at the state level and therefore gets to move forward to compete at Nationals in Kansas City, MO. She’ll be competing against the best in the nation in her skill area.
The national competition will consist of an interview, written exam, book reading, lesson plan design and demonstration. Lorelei will be scored on poise, presence, voice, attitude, grammar, body position, presentation technique, activity design, self-awareness, knowledge of early childhood, and resume.
Today, June 23rd, students from MN are on their way to the National Skills USA Championship. We wish all MN students the best of luck in their competition skill areas. Lorelei’s competition is Monday and Tuesday morning.
