Our next speaker is Sharon Bergen. Sharon has worked in early childhood and school age/youth programs for over thirty years. She has served children and families as a teacher, center director, multi-unit manager, curriculum developer, and trainer. Sharon has a BS in Child Development, an MA in Early Childhood Education and a Ph.D. in Education. Sharon is currently the Executive Director of the MN Association for the Education of Young Children (MnAEYC) and the MN School-Age Care Alliance (MnSACA). In that role she works with practitioners across the state to advance the mission of “supporting professionals and enhancing quality”. Sharon is also an adjunct faculty in our ECYD program.
