WordPress themes work to customize your blog site, giving you both functionality and good design. Each theme is slightly different to help you find the right templates to meet your blogging or website needs.

Overall, the WordPress themes provide you control over not only the look and feel of your site but ultimately the navigation and layout of pages.

You can select your theme by logging into your WordPress account, which you can open for free at WordPress.com. Then, click on the link to Theme Showcase. You can choose any template or you could create your own. Many of the templates in the Showcase can be used for free.

Once you select the theme that best fits your organization’s needs, you can begin to make this template your own by creating navigation menus, adding plug-ins and widgets.
